Grandkids and Christmas What a blessing they are. We had a wonderful time with them. It may be a while before we get back to New York. Keeping them in our prayers.

Emily and Sophie with cousin Joshua at Lola's house. My family (most of them) met at Lola's house for Christmas Eve. It was nice and yet a little sad as we all missed our mom's presence.

There were over 20 people gathered at Lola's for our Christmas Eve celebration. We had great food and lots of fun with the kids. Mindy gave me a special gift-an angel pin. I was so touched by that. She and Josh and my brother Tim (their dad) were struggling with this being the first Christmas without Kim.

Bill and I left Plattsburgh on Christmas day to travel and celebrate with Jason and Jessica, Steve and Tammie and our grandchildren.

My favorite brother Paul. He's a new daddy and Sophie is a doll. Emily, her mom, says she is a great baby. I got to hold her for as long as I wanted!

Jeff and Peggy

Great people and really nice. They are the caretakers of Adrian camp. They also have horses and enjoy all of the things they are involved with. He is a pastor and has a quick wit and Peggy is just plain sweet. They treated us royally and on the last day before we left Jeff treated us to a buggy ride. A great memory to take with us. We pray that God will open doors so we can return to Georgia and join with them to minister.

Sightseeing in Savannah! Went on a tour of the town and visited a railroad roundhouse museum. Lots of trains. While in Savannah we got to go to Bill's best shopping place. You guessed it "Harbor Freight" Just how many of those are there in the USA!

We enjoyed two weekends in Savannah with our new friends Dave and Mary Baker. One of the benefits of being on this mission is all the people we meet and the many new friends we have the pleasure of knowing.

OK so here we are in Georgia and it got COLD!!!! Go figure. We pulled out our weather channel Winter coats and kept warm with them. Looks like we need to be further south in December. However we were looking forward to heading home and enjoying snow and family for the holidays. We feel so blessed that we can do what God's called us to do and still keep our family and friends close.

On the Adrian campgrounds they have horses. These 2 are old ones. They are work horses and usually will be pulling something. One was sold to the camp by an Amish woman who said the horse was just too slow. Well I got to go on my first horse and buggy ride and it went plenty fast for me. It was great and the buggy bounced a lot. I felt like "Tigger!"

They also had a burro and a Mare with her colt. These horses were pretty calm and they use them during camp meeting as an activity for kids. I got to feed them carrots and apples and they were always quick to come to the fence when I approached. Lots of fun.

Yup! It's Bill and he's working. He and Dave replaced the sink counters in 60 rooms at the hotel which is on the grounds. He got to use one of his handy dandy tools and it proved to be quite a time saver. The older counters were an ugly gold or green. They were what you would have seen in the rooms at Holiday Inn about 30 years ago. It really looked nice when they were done.

December news from Georgia

Bill and I arrived in Adrian Georgia the 2nd of December. Since we fly back to Plattsburgh on the 19th we will need to make each day count and spend as much time as possible with the wonderful folks at Adrian. We had a nice surprise. We met with Dave and Mary Baker who are also ROAMERs and very special people. Dave and Mary live in Michigan.
